Our History
Prior to the establishment of RakugakiFun, our founder struggled to be vocal about her ideas. Recognizing that traditional society often prioritizes more extroverted forms of expression, she envisioned a platform where creativity and individuality could flourish without pressure. RakugakiFun was born out of this desire, offering a unique space where introverts-and anyone seeking an alternative form of expression-can communicate their thoughts and emotions through the simplicity and charm of doodles.
Our Mission
“RakugakiFun aims to provide individuals from all backgrounds with a platform to express themselves through doodles, win awards, publish art, and collaborate creatively. We strive to make self-expression accessible and authentic, moving beyond traditional forms of communication to foster a vibrant and inclusive community.”
“Rakugaki Fun” Meaning: “らくがき”, which reads Rakugaki in English is the Japanese word for doodling. By adding “Fun” to it, the title is meant to communicate the enjoyment and excitement doodling brings at any time. Even if the doodle was created at a time when you weren’t supposed to be doodling.
